HONG KONG - Burma’s consul general in Hong Kong has posted a letter on the internet suggesting the American man arrested for visiting democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi was a “secret agent or her boyfriend.”

“Some of our friends inquired about an American, who swam into the Inya Lake, who secretly visited Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s house,” said the letter seen on the consulate’s website.

“Their question is why he swam to her and what they discussed within his stay at her house,” said the letter signed by “the Consulate General of the Union of Myanmar.” “Frankly, we have no idea whether he is either secret agent or her boyfriend at this moment. We shall try to learn it and tell you later,” it said.

For emphasis, the words “either secret agent or her boyfriend” were in bold and underlined.

The posting refers to the bizarre incident in which a 53-year-old American, John Yettaw swam across a lake to Suu Kyi’s house, where he allegedly stayed between May 3 and May 5.

There are more interesting facts - John Yettaw said he was sent by the God to inform both Aung San Suu Kyi and the regime that "bad people" were planning to kill Aung San Suu Kyi.

You know what that menas right, that is a pre announcement.

Burma has defended its prosecution of democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi at an Asian security summit in Singapore.

As witnessed by the consul general's letter posting, An-Burma officials make and propose any usable rumor as SPDC truth.

I found these to be interesting. Both present the incident in a different light, and do explain the obvious appearance of incompetence on the part of the security force.

According to the *taxi driver who picked John William Yettaw up at the airport on May 2nd “John did not swim to Aung San Suu Kyi’s home”,  John was dropped off at the gate of Suu Kyi’s home. Then the cabbie witnessed as John showed the guards a red document then was allowed to enter the compound where he donned flippers, got wet and pretended to swim across the lake and lied to Suu Kyi’s caretakers.

At Wednesday's hearing, Yettaw testified that he met with armed security personnel upon leaving her house after his first visit, in November of last year, with the security detachment aiming their guns at him and asking, "What are you doing here?" Apart from that, he reportedly faced no trouble and harassment ...

The SPDC's associates again take a page from the Reich's  (RE: Gab) now dated expertese in manufacturing propaganda.

One more interesting.

They switched the court decision date to next week. Just like the news said, it is because of the current ASEAN meeting. That to get away from the pressure. But they'll put her in the jail for long time for sure. International help is really needed now.

High Court judge Tin Aung Aye rejected the appeal because it was "intended to disturb and delay the trial," court officials said

Witnesses support Daw Aung San Suu Kyi will not get their day in the Tat Ma DAw controlled court.

Too sad that Ibrahim Gambari left the country. It would have been an excellent and positive occurrence if Ibrahim Gambari had attempted to attend the resumption of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's trial proceedings. At the moment, as before, he shows all signs of being manipulated by the SPDC. What will he say to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon?

"A high profile visit by the UN chief can only be a good thing" if he arrives in country on Friday.

Now they want to finish it because the taxi driver said the truth?
