Democratization, working paper;
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:44:10 AM »
I would like to discuss a matter which is very crucial to us. Democratization:

Case studies: Haiti, Kosovo, East Timor, on going democratization in Iraq and Afghanistan, and success examples ( Japan and Germany in post-WW2) will be presented to back up my theory.
It will be comparative perspective. I will produce a thesis and an abstract of my paper in 4 days.

In this paper, i will discuss why force democratization will result in instability of a given state. Mainly, i will produce an analytical perspective on why NLD and SPDC can not reach to the middle ground. this paper will highlight inability of both actors to reach an agreement while upholding "security" and "democracy"

I will summit this paper to University of Yangon(Yangon, Myanmar), Jacob University(Bremen, Germany), Keio University(Tokyo,Japan), Pacific Forum(Honolulu, USA), CSIS(Washington D.C, USA), Ministry of Defense(Naypyidaw, Union of Myanmar) and NLD (Yangon, Myanmar).

Citations and Bib will be provided. Thank You.
